The interface is clear and intuitive, and can give people pertinent information about road conditions more efficiently than a text-based interface.
Geogia Department of Transportation uses their YouTube channel to broadcast their public service announcements on the web, as well as share interesting videos and advertisements from their archive. Their channel offers them better exposure on the web, as well as a convenient way to host their video material.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet uses their 511 portal to feature an interactive map that alerts drivers to potential hazards, severe weather, road construction, and other events that may interfere with traffic flow.

MoDOT Traveler Information Map is an interactive map that combines information about road closures, either from incidents, work zones, or weather conditions, and the Google Maps API.
